ITS Wins Vero Excellence Supreme Award
The Insolvency and Trustee Service (ITS) of the Ministry of Economic Development won the Vero Supreme Award and the Private Public Sector Partnership category for their outstanding delivery of an innovative and leading edge solution for the implementation of the Insolvency Act 2006. FMIT have worked closely with ITS to develop the award-winning Insolvency Case Management and Trust Accounting system. FMIT were involved from the inception through the implementation of the system, providing business consulting, development, content management and infrastructure services.
The Insolvency and Trustee Service (ITS) of the Ministry of Economic Development won the Vero Supreme Award and the Private Public Sector Partnership category for their outstanding delivery of an innovative and leading edge solution for the implementation of the Insolvency Act 2006.
The Vero Excellence in Business Support Awards 2009 was held last 28th of May at the Logan Campbell Centre. The awards honour those entities and individuals who provide quality products and services to the public, particularly business owners. The Prime Minister Hon John Key presented ITS with the Vero Supreme Award. In her acceptance speech, ITS Acting Group Manager Robyn Cox said that “receiving this award is an independent endorsement that we are doing an excellent job and I am very proud to receive it on behalf of all the staff at ITS and our business partners. Without their support and commitment, we would not have received this”.
The Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand (IPONZ) of the Ministry of Economic Development also won an award in the Government Department category for their work in revamping the website and educational partnerships informing the public of ways to protect their intellectual property.
Foster Moore IT were privileged and proud to witness ITS and IPONZ win their respective awards. FMIT have worked closely with ITS to develop the award-winning Insolvency Case Management and Trust Accounting system. FMIT were involved from the inception through the implementation of the system, providing business consulting, development, content management and infrastructure services. FMIT’s software architects designed the platform on which to build a more robust, portable and flexible system, utilising the latest in web development technology.
